A low-cost, agile, and fully portable system, which can be scaled up from handling 500 to 30,000 nodes for high-density seismic acquisition...
High-density data is the key to high resolution seismic imaging. Gathering that data on land presents unique challenges and all too often there’s a fine balance to be had between cost, logistics, and survey density, in addition to the difficulty of working on complex terrains.
That’s where the STRYDE Nimble System™ can help. We’ve developed it specifically to help you conduct:
We know that time and cost are critical during surveys, which is why our systems are designed to let you rotate large numbers of nodes simultaneously.
The STRYDE Nimble System™ is made up of up to 6 "Nest" cases and a "System" case:
Node transportation and handling is easy, thanks to our custom-built Magazine Strips.
Each Strip holds 10 nodes and at 300g per Strip (excluding nodes) they’re incredibly lightweight and can be connected to create a tray of 90 noes for efficient handling, transportation, and storage.
Our Navigator Tablet contains our field positioning system helps you easily locate every receiver point and initialise the nodes in the field to deploy and retrieve nodes in the most efficient way possible
Some benefits of using the tablet include:
We have designed our rugged, aluminium-framed backpack for hassle-free node deployment and retrieval in both simple and complex terrains.
Each backpack allows a single operator to carry up to 90 nodes, a navigator tablet, initialisation device and can be customised to work with your own RTK systems.
Our Initialisation Device™ used alongside the Navigator Tablet helps you communicate with your nodes out in the field.
At just 200g, the Initialisation Device’s lightweight design means it can be carried by hand or clipped to our custom-made STRYDE backpacks for hands-free operation. For greatest efficiency, 4 Initialisation Devices can be simultaneously charged with 70 nodes in the Nest Case.
STRYDE Nodes™ are compact and affordable. This means reduced outlay on receiver equipment, faster layout and retrieval using fewer field crew and vehicles, and less line clearing
STRYDE allows users to achieve a significantly greater trace density for any given budget, leading to a significant uplift in seismic image quality
Environmentally damaging line clearing is eliminated, since equipment can be hand carried. You also need far fewer vehicles, reducing CO2 emissions and land disruption
The lightweight design of the nodes means you need fewer people in the field, reduced driving and line clearing - minimising exposure to HSE risk and reducing costs
